15 oz  canned chickpeas
3 each  medium garlic cloves
0 1/4 cup  orange juice
2 tsp  low sodium soy sauce
1 tsp  dijon mustard
0 1/2 tsp  curry powder
0 1/4 tsp  ground ginger
2 tsp  grated orange peel
1 pinch  salt and pepper
  1. Place chick peas, garlic, orange juice, and soy sauce in a food processor and process until a smooth consistency.
  2. Add mustard, curry powder, and ginger and process again.
  3. By hand, stir in the orange rind.
  4. Add salt and pepper, if desired, to taste.
  5. Refrigerate 1 to 2 hours and serve.
