  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In large bowl, combine green beans, mushroom soup, and pepper. Toss to mix gently.
  3. Coat 2-quart casserole dish with cooking spray. Place green bean mixture into dish. .
  4. Arrange sliced onions on top of green beans.
  5. Sprinkle with walnuts, cheese, and bread crumbs.
  6. Bake 45 minutes until bubbly and lightly browned.
