5 1/2 cup  low sodium vegetable broth
4 each  medium garlic cloves
2 tsp  ground thyme
3 cup  fresh broccoli florets
1 each  whole wheat fusilli pasta
2 tbsp  fresh lemon juice
0 1/4 tsp  salt
0.125 tsp  black pepper
  1. In a medium pot, combine broth, garlic, and thyme and let boil. Mix in broccoli and fusilli. Lower heat and simmer 10 minutes or until broccoli and pasta are soft.
  2. When ready to serve, top soup with lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
