0 1/2 cup  unsalted butter
0 1/2 cup  minced onion
2 cup  fresh chopped celery
3 cup  fat free reduced sodium chicken broth
4 quart  soft white bread cubes
3 each  eggs
1 tbsp  salt
1 tsp  black pepper
0 1/4 tsp  ground sage
1 pinch  ground thyme
1 pinch  dried marjoram
  1. Melt butter in saucepan. Sauté onion in melted butter until soft, but not brown. Add celery and stir well.
  2. Add in 2 cups broth and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Place bread cubes into large mixing bowl. Add eggs, salt, pepper, sage, thyme, and marjoram.
  4. Add onion and celery mixture. Combine thoroughly.
  5. If too dry, add more chicken broth.
