2 lb  fresh green beans
2 cup  fresh cherry tomatoes
2 tbsp  olive oil
1 each  medium garlic cloves
1 tsp  dried basil
1 pinch  salt
1 pinch  black pepper
  1. Slice off stems and strings from beans. Boil a large pot of water and place beans in pot with lid on top of pot.
  2. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes or until soft, but still crunchy. Strain, place in a serving bowl and move to a warm place. Dry pot.
  3. Wash and dry tomatoes and slice off stems. Pour oil in the same pot and heat over high heat with tomatoes, garlic, and basil.
  4. Cook, stirring frequently, about 3 minutes, tomatoes should be warmed through. Spoon tomatoes over beans and season with salt and pepper.
