12 oz  fresh mushrooms
3 tbsp  Butter, unsalted
1 pinch  salt
1 pinch  black pepper
2 lb  fresh green beans
  1. Rinse mushrooms very well and let dry. Cut off any rough ends, bruises, or discolored spots. Chop mushrooms into small pieces or quarters.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons butter in a skillet over high heat. Stir in mushrooms and cook 6 to 10 minutes or until mushrooms are golden. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Slice off stems and strings from beans. Boil a large pot of water and place beans in pot. Cook 5 to 8 minutes or until fork tender. Strain. Move beans back into pot and mix in the rest of the butter. Season with salt and pepper. Spoon green beans into a serving bowl and top with mushrooms.
