Ingredients

1 tbsp  olive oil
3 quart  tap water
1 each  medium onions
1 each  medium garlic cloves
2 oz  prosciutto
1 1/2 lb  fresh green beans
Directions
  1. In large skillet, combine oil, onion, garlic, and prosciutto in a skillet. Cook over high heat 5 to 8 minutes. Remove from heat. Set aside.
  2. In large saucepan, boil 3 quarts of water. Add beans, cook 8 minutes, or until beans are al dente.
  3. Strain beans. Place in serving bowl. Spoon onion mixture over beans, toss, and season with salt, if desired.
