1 each  Chicken, broiler/fryer, whole, with skin, raw
0 1/2 tsp  salt
2 tbsp  olive oil
1 each  medium onions
0 1/4 tsp  black pepper
1 tbsp  crushed garlic
0 1/2 tbsp  unsalted tomato paste
0 1/2 tsp  garam masala
1 tsp  curry powder
0 1/4 tsp  celery salt
0 1/4 tsp  salt
0 1/4 cup  cold water
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Place the chicken into a 2 quart covered baking dish or dutch oven with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and olive oil.
  3. Bake for 40 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and appears brown.
  4. Add the onion, pepper, garlic, tomato paste, garam masala, curry powder, celery salt, and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
  5. Mix all together, then add 1/4 cup water for the ingredients to steam.
  6. Return to the oven for 5 more minutes to blend all the flavors.
