Servings
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb  plums
6 tbsp  sugar
1 1/2 tbsp  white all purpose flour
0 1/2 tsp  ground allspice
1 each  refrigerated pie dough
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Line a large baking sheet with foil and lightly spray with nonstick spray.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the plums, 1/3 cup of sugar, flour, and allspice.
  4. Unwrap the round refrigerated pie crust and gently unfold it onto the foiled line baking sheet.
  5. Leaving a 2 inch border, fill the crust, trying to arrange the plums into a circular position.
  6. Fold the 2 inch border over the filling, making folds into the crust to fit around the filling.
  7. Lightly brush the crust border with water, then sprinkle the crust and filling with the 1 tablespoon of sugar.
  8. Bake until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly, about 45 min.
  9. Let cool on the baking sheet placed on a cooling rack.
