  1. Combine crushed cookies with margarine.
  2. Layer the bottom of a 13x9 inch pan with cookie mixture.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whip cream cheese and vanilla extract.
  4. Slowly whip the chocolate pudding into the mixture.
  5. Spread the chocolate cream cheese mixture over the crust.
  6. Cover and chill in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  7. Place bananas and cherries over the pudding. Sprinkle with nuts and drizzle with syrup if desired.
