2 cup  evaporated skim milk
8 floz  unsweetened applesauce
4 oz  seedless raisins
2 tbsp  fructose sweetener
1 1/2 cup  quick cooking brown rice
0 1/2 tsp  ground cinnamon
0 1/4 tsp  ground nutmeg
0.125 tsp  ground allspice
0.125 tsp  cardamom, ground
  1. Make an apple pie spice blend by combining the cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and cardamom together. Reserve a pinch of the blend for garnish.
  2. Add milk, applesauce, raisins, fructose, and spice blend in a pot; heat and let boil. Mix rice into pot.
  3. Place lid over pot and let simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, most liquid should be evaporated. Serve mixture warm or cold with a pinch of apple pie spice sprinkled over top.
