  1. Begin by placing the green beans in a small saucepan and bring them to a boil. Remove from the heat and drain.
  2. Transfer the green beans to a 1-quart casserole dish treated with cooking spray and then set aside to keep warm.
  3. Sauté the onion in the margarine until tender and then blend in the flour, salt, and pepper. Stirring constantly, cook over low heat for 1 minute.
  4. Remove from the heat and gradually add the yogurt. Stir well.
  5. Pour the yogurt mixture over the beans and sprinkle with cheese.
  6. Broil 3 to 4 inches from heat until the cheese melts.
