1 1/2 lb  Beef, top sirloin steak, raw
0 1/2 cup  port wine
2 tbsp  Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp  balsamic vinegar
2 each  medium garlic cloves
3 tbsp  fresh thyme
  1. Trim all visible fat from steak.
  2. In large, resealable plastic bag, combine wine, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, garlic, and thyme.
  3. Add steak, seal bag, gently rotate to coat well. Place in refrigerator for 8 hours, turning bag from time to time.
  4. Heat grill to medium-high.
  5. Remove steak from marinade and place marinade into small pot. Bring to boil and cook until reduced to 1/4 cup.
  6. Spray grill rack with nonstick cooking spray. Add steak, brush on 1/2 reduced marinade.
  7. Cover and cook 5 minutes per side (for medium-rare), brushing on remaining marinade when turning.
  8. Allow steak to rest 5 minutes before slicing.
  9. Cut across grain into thin slices and serve.
