8 oz  fat free cream cheese
3 tbsp  dried cranberries
2 tbsp  fresh chives
0 1/2 tsp  fresh ginger root
1 tbsp  chopped parsley
1 pinch  salt
1 pinch  black pepper
24 each  wonton wrappers
1 each  egg whites
1 tbsp  vegetable oil
0.3333 cup  jalapeno jelly
  1. Combine cream cheese, cranberries, chives, gingerroot, and parsley in a bowl, sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  2. Place 1/2 tablespoon of the mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper and coat the edges with the egg white. Fold each wrapper in half and push down on edges to seal.
  3. In a large skillet, heat 2 inches of oil. Add 6 to 8 wontons and cook until golden brown, about 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from oil with a slotted spoon and drain well on paper towels. Continue frying until all wontons are cooked. Serve warm with heated jalapeƱo jelly.
