3 piece  raw bacon slices
0 3/4 cup  crimini mushrooms
1 tbsp  salted butter
1 tbsp  fresh chopped onion
0 3/4 cup  Cheese, cheddar, sharp, shredded
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Place bacon in large, deep skillet. Cook over medium-high heat until evenly brown. Drain, crumble, and set aside.
  3. Remove mushroom stems. Set aside caps. Finely chop stems.
  4. In large saucepan, over medium heat, melt butter. Slowly cook diced stems and diced onion, stirring occasionally until onion is soft.
  5. In medium bowl, stir mushroom stem mixture, crumbled bacon, and 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Scoop mixture into mushroom caps. Add remaining shredded cheddar to top of each cap.
  7. Bake 15 minutes, or until the cheese has melted.
