1 tbsp  olive oil
1 each  medium onions
6 each  medium garlic cloves
6 each  pork sausage
1 cup  cold water
2 lb  fresh green beans
1 pinch  salt
  1. Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Saute onion and garlic until tender. Stir in sausage and cook until evenly brown.
  2. Pour in water and bring to a boil. Stir in green beans; reduce heat to medium-low, cover and simmer until tender, about 30 minutes.
  3. Check water level often and add more as needed to prevent scorching. Season with salt to taste.
