3 each  fresh avocado
0 1/2 lb  cooked shrimp
14 1/2 floz  low sodium chicken broth
2 cup  whole milk
1 tsp  fresh lemon juice
2 tsp  minced onion
0.125 tsp  salt
0.125 tsp  black pepper
  1. Cut avocados in half. Discard pits. Spoon meat into small bowl.
  2. Chop cooked shrimp into 1/4" pieces.
  3. In medium saucepan, over medium heat, combine avocado, chicken broth, whole milk, lemon juice, and chopped onion. Bring slowly to boil, stirring frequently.
  4. Reduce heat to low, add chopped shrimp, salt, and pepper. Cook 1 minute (do not boil). Remove from heat.
  5. Adjust seasonings to taste and serve hot or cold.
