Ingredients Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. Place milk into a 1 quart casserole dish, cover, and place into a large shallow baking pan.
  3. Add 1/4 inch of hot water to the pan and bake milk until thick and caramel colored, about 1 hour. (Make sure to keep an eye on the water, do not let it run out; fill as needed). Remove from oven, uncover, and cool.
  4. In a medium pot, bring apple, apple juice, and sugar to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer until apple is tender, about 2 minutes.
  5. Add the caramelized milk to the apple mixture and mix well. Cook until heated, stirring constantly.
