0 1/2 cup  sugar
2 tbsp  cold water
2 each  Sweetener, granular, packet
2 each  egg whites
0 1/4 tsp  cream of tartar
0 1/2 tsp  vanilla extract
  1. Combine the first 5 ingredients in top half of a double boiler. Beat at high speed for 1 minute.
  2. Set top over simmering water in the bottom of the double boiler. Continue to beat for 4 to 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and add the vanilla.
  4. Continue beating for 1 to 2 minutes.
