1 cup  low sodium chicken broth
2 tbsp  quick cooking tapioca
2 tsp  caraway seeds
0 1/2 tsp  salt
0 1/4 tsp  black pepper
12 cup  fresh red cabbage, chopped
0 1/2 cup  half & half
2 tbsp  horseradish
  1. In small bowl, combine chicken broth, tapioca, caraway seeds, salt, and pepper.
  2. Pour broth mixture into 4 - 5 quart slow cooker. Add cabbage. Toss to coat.
  3. Cover and cook on low-heat setting 6 hours, or 3 hours on high.
  4. Stir half-and-half and horseradish into mixture in cooker until coated. Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
