0 1/2 tbsp  salt
0 1/2 cup  brown sugar
1 tbsp  grated orange peel
2 lb  Sashimi, salmon, chinook, fillet
5 tbsp  olive oil
6 each  medium garlic cloves
0 1/2 cup  dried basil
1 each  large onion
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Mix the salt, brown sugar, and orange zest in a bowl and smear on both sides of the fillet.
  3. Spread 3 tablespoons of olive oil on one side of the cedar plank and put in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
  4. Coat the olive oil side of the plank with garlic and put the salmon fillet on top. Season the fillet with the basil. Place the onions and the rest of the olive oil on top of the fish.
  5. Put the planked fish in the oven and cook for about 10 to 15 minutes, or until the fish is medium rare.
