Ingredients Directions
  1. Heat oil over medium heat and a large saucepan. Mix in pepper and onion and sauté for 5 to 6 minutes. Pepper and onions should be tender and slightly brown. Add in garlic and continue to cook for 1 minute.
  2. Mix in stewed tomatoes, tomato juice, 1/2 cup water, and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Place lid over pan and boil over high heat. Lower heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Gently add cod and shrimp, place lid back over and simmer for 3 or 4 minutes. Cod and shrimp should be cooked through. Stir once. Spoon stew into soup bowls.
