1 each  cooking spray
3 lb  chicken thighs
0 1/2 each  onion soup mix
1 each  Onion, whole, frozen, 10oz package
2 cup  fresh mushroom slices
0 1/2 cup  red wine
  1. Lightly coat a large nonstick skillet with cooking spray. Cook chicken, several pieces at a time, in hot skillet over medium heat until brown on both sides.
  2. Drain off fat. Place chicken in a 3 1/2 or 4 quart slow cooker. Sprinkle chicken with soup mix. Add onions and mushrooms. Pour wine over mixture in cooker.
  3. Cover and cook on low heat setting for 5 to 6 hours or on high heat setting for 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Enjoy!
