1 cup  whole wheat flour
1 cup  white all purpose flour
1 cup  quick cooking rolled oats
1 tsp  low sodium baking powder
1 tsp  baking soda
0 1/2 tsp  salt
0 1/4 cup  poppy seeds
1 each  eggs
1 3/4 cup  low fat buttermilk
0.3333 cup  honey
  1. Preheat oven 350 degrees F.
  2. Lightly spray a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the whole wheat flour, flour, oats, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and poppy seeds.
  4. In a separate bowl mix the eggs and buttermilk with an electric mixer until well mixed, add honey while mixing.
  5. Pour wet ingredients over dry ingredients and stir until just mixed.
  6. Spoon into loaf pan and bake until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 70-80 minutes.
  7. Remove pan and cool for 10 minutes, then remove bread from pan and cool completely.
