0 1/2 cup  apple cider
1 tbsp  ground cinnamon
1 tsp  ground nutmeg
0 1/4 cup  brown sugar
  1. Place apples (with skin for more fiber) in saucepan with cider and simmer over medium high heat, uncovered, for 40 minutes. Stir to prevent sticking as needed, every 4 to 6 minutes.
  2. Add cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar until you have a chunky sauce.
