1 cup  cold water
1 lb  fresh broccoli florets
5 each  medium garlic cloves
1 tbsp  olive oil
1 pinch  salt
1 pinch  black pepper
  1. Bring water to a boil and add broccoli. Simmer for 3 to 5 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, in a small pan, saute the garlic in oil until tender.
  3. Drain the broccoli and add to the garlic.
  4. Saute 1 more minute and transfer to a serving dish.
  5. Serve hot.
