3 tbsp  sliced almonds
2 each  medium apples
0 3/4 cup  Dates, pitted
1 tsp  grated lemon rind
2 tbsp  honey
3 tbsp  Wine, red, Burgundy, 5 fl ounce serving
1 tsp  ground cinnamon
0 1/4 tsp  ground ginger
  1. Toast nuts at 350°F for 10 minutes. Cool slightly. In the processor, chop nuts coarsely with quick on/off turns.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and pulse several times, until coarsely chopped.
