6 each  fresh tomatoes
0 1/2 tsp  salt
1 cup  whole milk
1 tbsp  white whole wheat flour
12 oz  Turkey, ground, 8% fat, raw
0 1/2 cup  fresh chopped celery
0 1/4 cup  fresh chopped green onion
0 1/2 cup  shredded cheddar cheese
0 1/2 tsp  salt
0 1/4 tsp  black pepper
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Cut tops off of tomatoes, scoop out pulp, leaving the shells intact.
  3. Sprinkle inside of tomato shells with salt, and invert on paper towels to drain.
  4. In small saucepan, combine milk and flour, stirring to blend.
  5. Bring to boil, reduce heat, and stirring consistently, cook mixture until thicken and smooth.
  6. Add turkey, celery, onions, cheese, salt, and pepper.
  7. Spoon turkey mixture into tomato shells.
  8. Place stuffed tomatoes in 13" x 9" x 2" baking dish. Bake 20 minutes, or until heated through.
