12 oz  Pasta, vermicelli, semolina, dry
2 tbsp  vegetable oil
2 cup  cold water
0 1/4 each  yellow onion
2 each  medium tomatoes
1 each  medium garlic cloves
1 pinch  salt
  1. Using a large sauté pan, fry the vermicelli in vegetable oil until it turns golden brown.
  2. In a food processor or blender, blend the water, onion, tomatoes, garlic, and salt. Strain.
  3. Pour blended mixture over the vermicelli and simmer until all the liquid has been evaporated or absorbed.
