1 tbsp  extra virgin olive oil
.33 cup  medium shallots
2 tsp  fresh ginger root
3 cup  red cabbage, shredded
3 cup  napa cabbage
12 oz  Beer, dark
0 1/4 tsp  salt
0 1/4 tsp  black pepper
Directions
  1. In large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high.
  2. Place shallots and ginger in skillet and cook until tender, about 3 minutes.
  3. Add red cabbage and napa cabbage to skillet and cook about 2 minutes.
  4. Add beer, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  5. Reduce heat to medium. Cover skillet and continue cooking for 10-15 minutes, or until cabbage is tender.
