  1. Make the sauce by stirring the mayonnaise, sour cream, and horseradish together in a small bowl. Set aside.
  2. Lay out the bread slices and spread each with some of the sauce. Lay 2 ounces of roast beef on each of 4 bread slices and top with 1 slice of cheese, a tomato slice, an onion slice, and a lettuce leaf.
  3. Top with the remaining bread slices on the sandwiches, cut each in half, and serve immediately.
