Ingredients Directions
  1. Remove excess fat from meat.
  2. Cut meat into 6 serving-size pieces.
  3. Sprinkle pepper evenly over meat; press in with your fingers.
  4. Use a large skillet to brown meat, half at a time, in hot oil over medium heat.
  5. Drain off fat and set aside.
  6. In a 3 1/2- or 4-quart slow cooker place carrots and onion. Add meat.
  7. In a medium bowl combine celery soup and Dijon mustard. Pour over mixture in cooker.
  8. Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 8 to 10 hours or on high-heat setting for 4 to 5 hours. Serve over hot cooked noodles (optional).
