1 1/2 cup  Peas, green, split, dry
6 cup  cold water
10 oz  smoked turkey sausage
1 cup  Potatoes, new, slices, canned
0 3/4 cup  sliced carrots
0 3/4 cup  fresh chopped onion
0 3/4 cup  fresh chopped celery
0 1/4 oz  Bouillon, chicken, sodium free, instant packet
1 1/2 tsp  crushed garlic
1 1/2 tsp  ground sage
0 3/4 tsp  ground thyme
0 1/4 tsp  black pepper
Directions
  1. Rinse the peas in a wire strainer under cool water.
  2. Bring the peas and remaining ingredients to a boil over high heat.
  3. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and let simmer for 1 hour until the peas are soft and the soup is thick.
