1 each  medium lemons
1 each  medium oranges
0 1/4 cup  sugar
0 1/4 cup  cold water
1 cup  Raspberries, fresh
  1. Using a vegetable peeler, remove a 3" by 1" strip of peel from lemon and orange. Squeeze 1 tablespoon juice from each and reserve.
  2. In 1-quart saucepan, combine lemon peel, orange peel, sugar, and water. Heat to boiling over high heat. Reduce heat to low; add berries and simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes. Remove saucepan from heat. Let stand until cool, approximately 30 minutes. Remove and discard lemon and orange peels.
  3. In blender, pulse berry mixture until pureed. Pour puree into medium-mesh sieve set over bowl. Press with back of spoon to remove seeds; discard seeds. Stir in lemon and orange juices. Cover and refrigerate syrup until cold, about 1 hour (or up to 1 week).
