6 floz  vegetable juice, low sodium
1 tbsp  fresh chopped onion
1 tbsp  fresh chopped celery
1 tbsp  chopped red bell peppers
1 tbsp  grated carrots
1 tbsp  fresh cilantro
1 tsp  fresh lemon juice
0 1/2 tsp  sugar
0 1/4 tsp  hot pepper sauce
1 pinch  black pepper
  1. Combine all the ingredients in a jar with a tight-fitting lid.
  2. Shake well, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, allowing the flavors to blend.
