8 each  boneless skinless chicken breasts
0 1/2 tsp  salt
0 1/4 tsp  black pepper
0 3/4 cup  low sodium chicken broth
1 oz  crumbled blue cheese
0.6667 cup  half & half
1 tbsp  cornstarch
2 tbsp  chopped walnuts
Directions
  1. In 5 to 6 quart slow cooker place chicken. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  2. Pour broth over chicken and sprinkle with blue cheese.
  3. Cover and cook on low heat setting for 5 hours or on high heat setting for 2-1/2 hours.
  4. Remove chicken onto serving platter. Cover chicken with foil to keep warm.
  5. Transfer cooking juices from chicken to medium saucepan. Add half and half and cornstarch in a small saucepan. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly.
  6. Cook and stir for an additional 2 minutes.
  7. Spoon sauce over chicken.
  8. Sprinkle with nuts.
