2 cup  cold water
0 1/2 tsp  salt
0.6667 cup  Polenta, dry
2 tbsp  grated Parmesan cheese
  1. In a deep saucepan, bring the water and salt (if using) to a boil.
  2. Gradually add the polenta, stirring constantly until thick and creamy, about 5 minutes. Stir in the cheese.
  3. Serve immediately.
