2 lb  Pork, roast, top loin, raw
1 cup  tap water
2 cup  fresh sliced parsnip
3 each  medium carrots
2 each  medium onions
1 each  medium apples
0 1/2 cup  fresh chopped celery
3 tbsp  quick cooking tapioca
1 cup  apple cider
1 tsp  salt
1 tsp  caraway seeds
0 1/4 cup  black pepper
1 each  medium celery stalks
  1. In 3-1/2 to 5-1/2 quart slow cooker combine pork, parsnip, carrot, onion, apple, celery, and tapioca.
  2. Add apple cider and salt, if desired, caraway seeds, and pepper.
  3. Cover and cook on low heat setting for 10 to 12 hours or high heat setting for 5 to 6 hours.
  4. If desired, garnish individual servings with celery leaves.
