8 serving  Lamb, rib, lean, raw, choice, 1/4" trim
1 each  fresh green onions
3 tbsp  low sodium soy sauce
2 tbsp  rice vinegar
2 tbsp  canola oil
2 tbsp  fresh ginger root
0 1/4 tsp  salt
0.125 tsp  hot red pepper flakes
1 each  medium garlic cloves
  1. Place chops in a resealable plastic bag set in a shallow dish.
  2. For marinade: Combine green onion, soy sauce, rice vinegar, oil, ginger, salt, crushed red pepper, and garlic in a small bowl. Pour over chops.
  3. Seal bag and turn to coat chops, and then marinate in the refrigerator for 4 to 24 hours, turning the bag occasionally.
  4. Drain meat, discarding marinade, and then place chops on the rack of an uncovered grill directly over medium coals. Grill until desired doneness, turning once halfway through grilling.
  5. Allow 12 to 14 minutes for medium-rare doneness (145 degrees F) or 15 to 17 minutes for medium doneness (160 degrees F).
