Ingredients Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Brown the ground beef and onion in a large ovenproof skillet with lid over medium heat, stirring to crumble.
  3. Drain the meat and then pat dry with paper towels to remove any excess fat. Also, wipe the skillet with a paper towel.
  4. Return the meat to the skillet, and then layer the potatoes, carrots, onions, green pepper, and tomatoes over the top. Sprinkle with pepper and basil.
  5. Cover with the ovenproof lid and bake for 45 minutes.
