1 each  cooking spray
2 1/2 cup  white all purpose flour
0 3/4 cup  sugar
0 1/2 cup  margarine
0 1/2 tsp  low sodium baking powder
0 1/2 tsp  baking soda
1 cup  plain nonfat yogurt
1 tsp  almond extract
4 each  egg whites
8 oz  low fat cream cheese
0 1/4 cup  sliced almonds
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Coat a 9-inch spring-form pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the flour and ½ cup sugar.
  4. Cut in the margarine until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  5. Reserve 1 cup of crumb mixture.
  6. To the remaining crumb mixture, add the baking powder, baking soda, yogurt, almond extract, and 2 egg whites.
  7. Spread the batter over the bottom and up the sides of the prepared pan.
  8. In a small bowl, and combine together the cream cheese, remaining 1/4 cup sugar, and remaining 2 egg whites until creamy.
  9. Pour into the batter-lined pan.
  10. Sprinkle with the sliced almonds and the reserved crumb mixture.
  11. Bake for 45 minutes, or until the mixture is set and the crust is golden brown.
  12. Serve warm or cold; refrigerate any leftovers.
