1 each  cooking spray
1 tsp  Margarine, 80% fat, unsalted
0 1/2 cup  fresh chopped onion
2 each  medium garlic cloves
15 oz  canned cannellini beans
0 1/4 cup  maple syrup
0 1/4 cup  cold water
2 tbsp  Salsa, hot
1 tsp  dry mustard
1 tsp  hot pepper sauce
0 1/4 tsp  ground ginger
0 1/4 tsp  ground cloves
Directions
  1. Coat a medium saucepan with cooking spray, and add margarine; place over medium-high heat until margarine melts. Add onion and garlic, and cook 4 to 5 minutes or until onion is tender, stirring often.
  2. Stir in beans, syrup, water, salsa, dry mustard, hot sauce, ginger, and cloves; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cover, and simmer 15 to 20 minutes, stirring often.
