3 cup  apple juice
1 tbsp  honey
1 each  cinnamon sticks
8 pinch  cardamom, ground
0 3/4 cup  Pears, sulfured, dried, halves
1 1/4 cup  Apples, dried
0 1/2 cup  dried apricot halves
0 1/2 cup  pitted dried prunes
  1. In a saucepan, combine the apple juice, honey, cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, pears, apples, and apricots, bring to a boil and then reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes, or until the fruit has softened.
  2. After removing the pan from the heat, add the prunes, and then transfer to a serving dish to cool. Once cool, cover and refrigerate before serving.
