Ingredients Directions
  1. Cook the beef, onion, and garlic in a large Dutch oven, stirring until beef crumbles and onion is tender. Drain.
  2. Stir in the tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, water, Italian seasoning, sugar, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
  3. Add the pasta and cover oven. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring often.
  4. Top with cheese and fresh basil, if desired.
