1 each  cooking spray
1 tsp  margarine
0 1/4 cup  fresh chopped onion
0 1/4 cup  fresh chopped celery
4 cup  soft white bread cubes
1 each  medium apples
0 1/2 tsp  poultry seasoning
0 1/2 tsp  ground sage leaves
1 pinch  black pepper
0 1/2 cup  low fat unsalted chicken broth
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly spray a 13- x 9- x 2-inch baking dish with vegetable oil spray.
  2. In a small skillet, melt margarine over medium-high heat. Sauté onion and celery for 5 minutes, or until tender. Transfer to a large bowl.
  3. Stir in remaining ingredients except broth, then lightly stir in broth. Transfer to baking dish. Bake, covered, for 45 minutes.
