1 lb  beef tenderloin fillet
2 tsp  paprika
6 tsp  garlic powder
0 1/2 tsp  black pepper
1 tsp  onion powder
4 pinch  ground cayenne (red pepper)
0 1/2 tsp  oregano leaves
0 1/2 tsp  ground thyme
1 tsp  brown sugar
2 tsp  olive oil
  1. Remove steaks from the refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking. Allow the meat to come to room temperature.
  2. Pat the meat dry with paper towels.
  3. Mix together paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, onion powder, cayenne, oregano, thyme and brown sugar.
  4. Rub 1/4 teaspoon of olive oil on each side of each fillet.
  5. Divide the seasoning mixture and rub it into each oiled side.
  6. Heat large pan on high for 1-2 minutes. Place fillets in pan, reduce heat to medium high. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side.
  7. Remove the pan from the heat and allow meat to rest in the pan for at least 5 minutes. Serve.
