2 tsp  vegetable oil
2 cup  red cabbage, shredded
1 cup  shredded carrots
1 1/2 cup  fresh chopped celery
2 oz  green bell pepper strips
0 1/2 cup  fresh chopped onion
0 1/2 tsp  salt
0 1/4 cup  cold water
1 pinch  soy sauce
  1. Pour oil in a heavy saucepan and heat to frying temperature.
  2. Add vegetables and salt, and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
  3. Add 1/4 cup water, cover, and cook over low heat for 5 to 7 minutes. Drizzle with soy sauce to taste.
