Ingredients Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
  2. Place sauerkraut in a colander and rinse with 2 quarts cold water. Drain well.
  3. Put sauerkraut in a large bowl, and mix in the tomatoes and juice, ham, onions, and brown sugar.
  4. Place in a 2-quart casserole, cover, and bake for 1 hour.
  5. Remove cover, stir lightly, and bake 1 more hour.
  6. Stir sugar substitute into sauerkraut and serve hot.
