0 1/4 cup  Ketchup
0 1/4 cup  unsalted tomato juice
1 tbsp  hickory liquid smoke
0 1/2 tsp  Seasoning, barbecue
1 tsp  sugar
0 1/4 cup  Oats, rolled, old fashioned
1 pinch  salt
0 1/4 cup  Bread Crumbs, plain, grated, dry
3 tbsp  minced onion
0 1/2 tsp  salt
0 1/4 tsp  black pepper
1 cup  fat free milk
1 1/2 lb  extra lean ground beef (5% fat)
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
  2. Bring a pot of water to a boil, add pinch salt and oats; simmer for 3-5 minutes.
  3. Blend the first five ingredients together well to make the sauce, and then set aside.
  4. Mix the oatmeal, crumbs, onions, salt, pepper, and milk at low speed until blended.
  5. Shape into balls using 2 tablespoons of the mixture for each.
  6. Place on a cookie sheet and broil for 2 to 4 minutes before removing from cookie sheet.
  7. Brush each with the sauce and put them in a casserole dish.
  8. Pour remaining sauce over the meatballs, cover, and bake for about 45 minutes.
