Quick Cheese Grits
1 cup  cold water
6 tbsp  Grits, hominy, quick
1 pinch  salt
1 pinch  garlic powder
0 1/4 cup  shredded cheddar cheese
1 pinch  paprika
  1. Combine water, grits, salt and garlic powder in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  2. Reduce heat to a simmer, cover and cook, stirring occasionally, until desired consistency.
  3. Remove from the heat and stir in cheese and paprika, stirring until the cheese melts.
